Ian Whetstone is a painter living in Level Green. A graduate of Gateway High School, Ian attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he has worked ever since. He paints primarily in acrylic, with a focus on pop culture and personal portraiture. His work has been displayed in various individual and juried group shows, including the Hoyt Regional and the Westmoreland Art Nationals, where he was awarded Best in Show in 2024.
